engine swap

yo, i have a 96 honda civic dx with an auto trans and i wanted to swap a jdm motor with a 5spd and go with an all motor, but i dont really know what would be best and i dont know what i need for a 5spd swap.l8r

Hey, as you can imagine, I drive a '95 hatchback cx and i am in the process of getting an h22a put in. There are swap kits that will convert your auto tranny to manual and it will provide you with almost everything needed to complete the swap. other than the kit I'm having performance custom axles made to fit my car and new motor mounts are a given. I'm new to engine swaps myself, but I hope what I've learned will help you.

couldn't u do a swap with most any b or d series pretty easily?
