Engine surging/revving (searched, no luck)
Ive got a 94 CX hatch with a B20B in it. When I start the car, itll sit fine for about 30 seconds then it will start revving/surging from 1500 rpms to 2000 rpms untill my car reaches its normal operating temp (when my water temp guage needle is about 1/3 of the way up on the guage.) As the temperature increases from when I start my car, the surging drops, and when it gets to normal temp, it idles fine at about 700-900 rpms. There is no heater unit or heater lines in the car (all heat/ac lines and motors were removed by the previous owner.) Does that have anything to do with it or could it be something else?

its probably the FITV.
its under the throttle body.
take off the cap (2 8mm bolts, or a phillips driver)
then take a flat head or two and turn the waxy plunger to TIGHTEN it.
tighten it all the way down (dont over do it tho, just snug it up)
test.
and while you are going through the trouble clean the IACV.
located on back of intake manifold.
two 12mm bolts.
clean with brake or carb cleaner.
reinstall and test.

have fun
also check for vacuum leaks if those two fail...
my weird idling was due to my throttle plate not closing all the way

Re: Engine surging/revving (Boostedb20EH2)
Vacum lines all intact. No holes in any of the lines. Maybe when I pulled out all of the heating stuff, a sensor in that is now missing and causing this?
