Default Engine Stall...

hey there Every1...well starting off Happy New Yearss!! hopefully every1 made it count!!

ok ok. to the Topic. I got a 96, Civic, 4dr, EX, manual Trany... 145+miles.
not to long ago I Decided to Step on it..i would say about a week ago. But this time none stop. I really went out loud.

I had a Friend stop on the Red light. soo he decided to peal out... and knowing this...i did the Same. Now. It Felt out of place. Idk if it was me that Messed up the Gears while shifting or didn't shift good enought altho Accelerated 2 much...
W.e It was it killed my power...the car feels weak.

The Problem now is That Every time I step on it or Accelerate. The Revolutions Move Faster or all the way up to 5.rmp before the car has even gone to 20 miles phr. meaning that on Second Gear. I try to Double Clutch and the car just hits about 20 to 30mph while the RPMs show that it Should be Going way faster.(like before)

Meaning it Shows where it Should be But The car itself its not moving as Fast...

Its killing my GAS!!! nd im Broke right now.

one of my Friends told me to Check the Fuel Injectors. altho i don't think i could be that. my other friend said...Clutch, or Transmision. or perhaps the CV joints...

Now all im asking is for help to understand the problem...to know wut to do and whut to FIX. before going to any mechanic or trying to Fix it myself.

The Car Stalls. and I don't feel the power that it had before.

please contact me if any1 has gone throw this. pleaSee I would Greaty appreciate this!

THanks

Your clutch could be slipping because it is too worn for the pressure plate to clamp it down to the flywheel, it will still shift into gears perfectly but the clutch will not grip causing your engine to rev but the power is not transffered to the transmission to move the car.

its the clutch for sure. i had the same problem with my car when i still had a D series. when you did that last peel out that basiclly took the clutch and messed it all up. so at times when driving your RPM's is not gonna match your MPH. best thing to do is get a stock clutch and fly wheel, thats if your still low on money
