engine sputtering!
i got a 97 lx and its started sputtering when cold, especially when its the first time i've started it for the day. it'll start fine then just slowly start to drop in revs to 400rpm or less and when its about to die it recovers and goes back to proper idle :/ it does that 2 to 3 times then idles fine. or if i start to drive it while its cold it will suddenly feel like the throttle is stuck and the car jerks and wont accelerate. i depress the clutch and give it a couple seconds then it works fine. what could be causing this? could it be the o2? or the fact that my plugs are gapped 0.005 shorter? or the fuel pressure regulator? fuel pump? please help!
