I have the same exact problem. I have changed the distributor as well, main relay, ignition switch, and still having the problem. If anyone out there has any other ideas, it would be greatly appreciated
The symptoms I experienced seem to be a ignition coil. Runs perfect, from idol to full throttle, but once it warms up, it shutters or sounds like a throttle limiter when at full throttle. It even quit on me. When it happens, I get a P0335 code crank sensor circuit A. I changed the crank sensor. Same problem. I checked the ignition switch, all good and tight with no cutting out after testing it 20 times as described in other comments. I changed the fuel filter just for the sake of it, I changed the ignitor located in the distributor, I changed the plugs wires and distributor for a tune up. It is still doing the same. I have the 3 wire crank sensor circuitry. Ground, voltage and signal.. The voltage is reading .4volts, which I suspect may be the PCM/ECU/ECM control box? but how do I check to see if the part is bad? What wire/wires. I am unclear of where the wires go to from the crank sensor/distributor/ECM in a flow chart. What voltage should I get going to the crank sensor? Any help please! |

electrical part of the igntion switch?
if it's heat related, as in when it warms up it shuts down, then cools down and it starts then shuts off when it's warm again...maybe ignitor in your dizzy? |
