engine running hot
last night i raced my civic. i only made 2 passes and on the way back to the line i noticed my engine temp was like past the red line as in it was on H. i didnt overheat. i shut the car off and turned it right back on and the temp went down to normal. did the t-stat just not open up? or is it something else.

My car would do this also. It would get hot and cool down randomly even if I was on the gas hard. Found out my water pump went out and the water temp sensor was shoot. Fixed now
