engine ringing??

Default engine ringing??
hey guys,
so the past few days i've noticed my engine's been making a high pitched ringing noise at idle. i'm suspicious that i may need a valve job. does anyone have any ideas before i take it in? the sound seem to go away as soon as i give it a little bit of gas. the engine is a d16z6 btw. thanks!

oh yeah...i'd say the noise is comparable to small coins rattling against one another...

Before you get happy, do you have an upgraded intake? and when did you install it?

there's an aem short ram on there right now that was installed at least a year ago...
