engine mounts yay or nay ?
do aftermarket engine mounts make a difference? as in power, handling, feel... etc. d series in a del sol looking to run a turbo kit 200whp goal.

Yep, it stops the motor from torquing itself back, so you should have a more direct feel. Just be able to put up with the rattling and vibration you'll get with full race mounts. One thing that you can do is put your car in second gear at about 4k rpm and blip the gas suddenly. Look at your shifter and you'll see it rock back. Then try it with the mounts in.

i hate the nasty Vibrations you get from Polyurethane mounts, but if u can deal with it, then props to ya....why don't u jus get the engine torque damper that almost every company sells now?

Anyone filled their mounts with window weld and have good luck with it? The poly mounts we put into my freinds GSR dont seem to want to stay in, even with zipties in.
