engine info
i drive a '94 del sol, and i want to do an engine swap, but i dont really know much about some of the options i could go with, some people have said gsr engine, or ls vtec... but what about a b16 or something... i just dont know much about them. Could anybody give me some sites where i can learn about diferent types of engines, and the pros/cons? So i can decide for myself, other than just listening to everyone, since everyone has their own opinion.... thanks

a b16 in a del sol wouldn't be smart since the 96-97 si's came w/ b16's already, i would personnally put a itr motor in there if you have the cash flow. you can learn on this site, just use the search button

for 94-97 there were 3 models
s: d15
si: d16z6 125hp
si vtec: b16a3 160hp.

Re: engine info (93VAhatch)
k24a2 if you have the cash.
Light weight, faster and more of a power band than a ITR (b18c5), and iVTEC
If you want to spend like 2 grandish, Id say TURBO.
Build the engine, then turbo. Run 13 psi all day.

Re: engine info (CarbonCreations)
Here's the only search you need on where to buy:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=50010
And cause of the Del Slow's, oops , Del Sol's weight, I'd get a GSR or ITR. IMO.

so anything over 2400 lbs must use a $4800 itr motor???
