Hey guys, I have a 96 lx sedan, auto trans, my problem is that i hear this clicking sound from the engine when i first start up the car and at low rpms, but after 5-10 mins it goes away.

What can this be?? Detonation (really doubt it) ?? by the way it has 156000 KMS on it so about 62000miles on it.

Any sugestions to the cause of the problem and how to fix would be appreciated

Yup...My 98 DX coupe, 5-sp 75k miles makes the same noise. When it's cold, for the first 30 seconds of driving, there is a definate clicking noise. We have all heard it, I'm sure..but what the hell is it?

when was the last time you did a valve adjustment?

Don't know what you guys are hearing; maybe ghosts, but Hondas are notorious for having noisy fuel injectors. Most of the time, when ppl start describing 'clicking' noises at idle, and so forth, that's what it is.
