Default engine check light??? Need help pronto!!!

Ok here is my situation. my engine check light came on a couple days ago. I checked it out with the code tester and the - ((P0122 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Low Input )) came up. Ok so i troubleshot it, now i dont know if i did it right but i know its suppost to read 4.5v throttle open, and .5v closed??? i dont even think i got anywhere with that one. well i came to the conclusion that the throttlebody was bad. i have an extra TB will all components, so i swaped them out, but still engine check light....Soooo does that mean its the wire harness to the TPS????? Someone help me out man....the light is driving me crazy

Default Re: (dirtey)

check the ground for the sensor and see what is the voltage drop acroos it. it should be no more than 3mv. and do the same with the power side. if it is too high then you need to replace the wire. easiest way to do it is look at which pins that it goes into the ecu and then just hook up a volt meter to it and test the voltage drop.
