i had a civic look like that last winter. I cleaned it up a bit, then went to use it later.....my alternator ended up shorting out I ended up having to replace it

^^ There's no way all that snow got in there if he kept it shut. Unless he has a huge gaping hole in the hood.

the hood was frozen shut when i opened it in the morning.


im not sure where the hole would be if there is one but the storm droped abou 12 inches of snow.

dont worry mann i live in iowa also same thing happen to me when my hood was shut got alot of snow in there .... if you have a compressor just spray the snow away and buy a cover after that so the snow wont get in again

did you not fully close the hood by chance? i've seen them where its windy and if they arent closed all the way it looks the same.

just start it up. it will all melt.

yeah it was latched tight.


this is from about a week and a half ago i just havent been on here to post the picture.


i brushed some of the snow off with my hands and it started right up.

it has a jdm carbon fiber intake

i dont know how all the snow would have gone through the old air box intake hole and spread around like that tho.


haha thats fine by me. im pulling the motor in the next couple weeks anyways.
