energy suspension kit = awesome
so i went to get a front end alignment the other day and they could do it because i needed new bushings in my lower control arms and so i went out and ordered the complete kit for my car i finished puting in the front kit all the bushings look awesome and **** and i get the whole front end put back together and then took my car out for a test drive and since i dont have power steering you feel a lot more of the road than you would with power steering, anyways the bushing kit is deffinatley worth every penny the car handles awesome and it even came with new bushings for my sway bar. ive never been more satisfied with a product.

I used sockets to take each suspension piece off. Then I used a center punch, and a hammer to tear the rubber bushing out. I also used a propane torch to heat the rubber, and make it brittle. That takes a while, after all the rubber was out I used a jig saw to cut thru the outer metal sleeve. Once the I cut thru, I used the center punch to bend the inner sleeve inwards till it fell out. It's a very long, and tedious process. A press would of made life easier, but it can be done without it.

Re: energy suspension kit = awesome (civtegra_hybrid)
i did it myself its not to hard if you have a press with the right sleeve pushersto get the bushing sleeves out they do not and will not come out by using pick and mallet so do try it, i did and they did not budge at all, so i took apart my lcas and had the sleeves pressed out at the auto parts store that i use. and as for prices i got my kit for 129 with tax im not to sure if it was a deal but they usually give me one so i didnt complain it wasnt to expensive. and as for them being reusable i wouldnt see why not , just becareful not to put any slices in them and make sure to relube them. just to double check i would try to contact the company to see if its ok..

also an impact wrench makes the job faster and easier and if you use a jigsaw to cut the sleeves make sure you file down the burr marks on the lcas because they can and will make small cuts in you new bushings so thats not advised. sorry just gettem pressed out at a machine shop or snyone you know that has a press

i got black ones no sqeak at all. took me an hour each side using hand tools. all you need is a vice, hack saw, hammer and screw driver to take them out.

What exactly are we talking about here?
Is this a suitable inexpensive upgrade to a stock suspension which yelds a better ride and better control? If so tell me exactly what this product is, where you bought it (be specific!) and for how much is it?
Thanx!
