Energy Suspension Inserts

I have a 00' civic sohc automatic. If my motor mount inserts are made for manual transmission only, is there anyway it'll squeez in on my automatic tranny? b/c on the package it says: 93-97 DEL SOL, 92-00 CIVIC (EXCEPT SI). note: THIS SET IS FOR TORQUE MOUNT POSITIONS AND MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS ONLY.

go to hondaautomotiveparts.com and look at the pics for auto and manual see how different they are.

If they look even SLIGHTLY different they won't fit right...

If you're in for a p.i.t.a. job you could just see if they fit... you won't damage the inserts... they either slide in nice or they don't.

like prosedure???

you have to be able to get at it from the top and the bottom... It was a HUGE pain for me... It was just frustrating... with the brackets on both the block and the chassis with the bushing in-between it's a pain getting it all out to get the inserts in.

Just take out all the mounting bolts and wiggle it a LOT... it DOES come out w/o taking anything else apart but it doesn't seem like it will.
