Default Endlinks... which are the best?

Everything is working great with my rear suspension, but the damn adjustbale endlinks are killing me. I've had em in use for about 8-9 months now and here recently they've been starting to squeak a lot. Drives me insane...

ASR subframe brace
ASR 24mm sway bar
PIC LCA's
Blox adjustable endlinks...

So... that said what end-links can I use that are quiet but are still effective and will last for quite a while?

Stock?
Blox non adjustable?

Any recommendations?

If you don't have a real need for adjustable endlinks, I'd say go with standard ones. Cheap aftermarket endlinks with spherical bearings are going to squeak after awhile.

Personally, I've been running the blox nonadjustable 99-00 Si style links with no problems, but I've only had them on for about 3 months.

I'm not sure where the endlink mount points are on the pic control arms, but generally if they're in the middle of the LCA, you'll want 99-00 Civic style. If they're on top of the LCA, you'll want the Integra style. I'd say go with nonadjustable links of whatever style LCAs you have unless you really have a reason to go with adjustables.

The adjustables came with it, I thought at the time those where my only options. Can I get the rear links at Advance/Oreilly or?

Possibly. I know the OEM links from Honda are super expensive; like $75 each. You might be able to get some cheaper aftermarket links from one of the chain stores.

I ordered mine from jhpusa. They have the Blox 99-00 style nonadjustables for $35 for the set.

The adjustables aren't the only option. Really, there's nothing wrong with adjustable links, except that spherical bearings on a DD car just don't usually hold up. Basically, you have completely unshielded bearings in a location where they're going to get all sorts of dirt thrown up into them. After awhile they're going to squeak.

I mean, I like the idea of spherical bearings, but I think they're prone to wearing out quickly on cars that get street driven in weather.

So, you should be okay with nonadjustables as long as you get the right ones for your LCAs. The Blox links still have a joint in them, but it's greased and covered up with a rubber boot, and should probably last longer without noise.

Do you have these pic LCAs?

If so, then you need the 99-00 Civic style links. The endlink mount point is in the 99-00 location (the middle of the arm). As said before, if you have the kind that have the endlink mount on the top of the LCA, you need Integra style links to keep correct geometry.

I run all Moog suspension components. Stronger and more durable than OEM with grease fittings so you can flush them once a year. I highly recommend them.

I'll check into them, but I must ask what is your suspension setup and does it compare to mine?
