Default emma under construction(my hatch build)

got this car for my 17 birthday in june of 07. did the normal wheels tires and suspension upgrades shortly after. i then found a 92 LS teg for 250 so i bought it for the motor trans and other swapable parts. the first winter i had the car i noticed some bondo work startin to pop. in feb of 08 i started tearin in to the hatch. for the record this is my first project car learning everything as i go thanks to honda-tech and some helpful friends.so on with the parts list and pics.

whats this sensor and can i eliminate it from my harness

when i was building my harness i didnt know what it was so i just kept it

hat has to do woth you evap system i beleive. i took mine off but kept the plug on my harness just in case i ever needed it. one less thing to worry about so delete it

Damn good to see someone willing to go to the proper length to repair rusted panels. Damn good for a first timer. You should do something about the rust on the underside of the car as well.

i got rid of the rust underneath as well i just dont have pics of it

*UPDATE*
need to pull motor and tranny back out. when i went to put my axles in i discovered the tranny has bad diff bearings. so gonna rebuild the tranny whoknows what else i might find when i open it up

Can you post some pictures of your cable/hydro conversion on the tranny? I have to do the same thing and I've been curious about what kind of pieces are involved. Thanks.

Looks great. I'm impressed at the patch work. BTW which weld did you use, Mig or Tig? Also, for cutting what did you use?

i used a lincon 110v mig for the cutting i used a grinder with a cut off wheel

nice work. Aren't those inner fenders a bitch?? I wish some body panel company would stamp those out. They'd sell the **** out of them.

Did you use the magnets out of an old set of speakers to hold the wheel arches in place ??

Try using old harddrive magnets. Those things are hella strong.

motor and tranny are back out gonna crack open the tranny soon to see if there is anything else bad other than diff bearings
