Default Emissions bypass

I searched but couldnt find anything related to this topic.

I was wondering if I could get rid of all the emissions related stuff on my 95 dx coupe. Has anyone ever done it, and if so how did the car run? Does anyone have a how to? I know in the eclipse community most people remove emissions, and with good results. I just want to get rid of anything I dont need. More crap to tear up, you know?

Thanks for any help in advance

I know the Charcoal canister is emission stuff but USDM ECU's recognize it and you'll throw a code.

It runs from the Charcoal Canister to the valve (vacuum line) at the back driver side of the manifold and the vacuum line runs to in the Intake Manifold.

You can run a JDM ECU (Japan doesn't use them) and plug that hole in the Intake but I don't see it robbing hp. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can correct me?

O2 needs to stay on both JDM or USDM

Cat is optional.

Not sure if there's chipped ECU's that can tweak for the removal of the O2 but I can't see the O2 robbing any substantial hp

I already got the cat off. I dont care anything about a CEL. Most of the things I was wondering about were, the removal of the charcoal canister, and mostly the EGR valve.

What were you wondering about removal? Its pretty easy and straight forward. Pull anything that connects to them and plug holes that where vacuum lines went into the engine.

I was just making sure that there won't be any drivability issues

Drivability will change. IMO CEL's make the ECU change what its sending because of what it's receiving...

Maybe not all CEL's but I can't say what it'll do without emissions in place.

Some people believe that Knock Sensor unhooked makes the air/fuel ratio change in the ECU...others don't believe it at all.

So maybe its all disputable.

You can always Dyno before and after....proof in the pudding I guess
