i dont see why people cant just take the day to do it themselves rather then have a shop install it for 150. its not that hard.

damn, thats why you do work yourself
you would probly pay more to get them installed than you did for the coilovers

You're not describing this well. Get a friend who can translate the thoughts leaking out of you mouth in words the rest of us can read without screaming in pain.

The spring perches are welded on the Tokico shocks, which means it's unlikely that it's what you're missing. It's typical for shitty coilover sleeves to be loose until the weight of the car compresses the shock piston enough to bring the tophat into contact with them. This is one of many reasons why people blow out their shocks so quickly when they ride on coilover sleeves.

Are you sure there's something wrong or is the mechanic just unused to the shitty design of most coilovers?

First things first, if you had H&R springs on it in the first place...

1) why are you removing a good quality spring for coilovers?
2) lowering springs are shorter than the stock ones, not longer!

Same thing goes with the coil overs. The coil spring in the coil overs is supposed to be a lot smaller than the stock springs and significantly smaller than lowering springs.

Next, you need to learn how to type.

Lastly, sit the car on the ground and see if the springs move around.

the skunk2s should come with rubber gourments that stops the coils from moving up and down, side to side...you have to install these between the shock body and the coils..its a bitch but you should have them on there to protect the shocks from getting chewed up from the coils..

I went to Big O Tires just to see how much they would charge to put my springs on and they gave me an estimate of over $600... Stupid *** people...

I'm doing my own for sure... it really isn't hard at all.
