EM1's with OEM keyless entry.. ALL EM1 owners Please read! Help!!
Okay, I just bought a 00 civic Si from a dealership. They did not have the keyless entry keys. I looked behind the drivers kick panel and located the keyless entry box. The FCC number is A269ZUA123.
now my question is for all you folks who have keyless on their EM1's.
Does the back of your key FCC number say A269ZUA123 or A269ZUA106????
I cant find any keys with the FCC number A269ZUA123 but can find millions of 106's. I hear you can mix and match these two FCC's numbers but I havent found any solid threads that say so.
PLEASE HELP! lol

Just buy a keyless remote for a 99-00 Civic. For example, Majestic Honda and many online sites sell them.

Not exactly the answers I was looking for. I'm looking for someone with an EM1 to look at their key fob and tell me what FCC number is on it.

Dude nevermind. I thought it was easy to ask a simple question on here. And to get a simple response. Obviously, it's too hard for someone to look at their SI key fob and tell me the FCC number.
I wouldn't go through all this trouble if I found a thread that answered my question. Every site that I go to, to order a key fob says to make sure I match up the FCC number from my module to the key fob I order. OBVIOUSLY, I can't find a key fob with the number that I have, so I'm seeing if anyone has SUCCESSFULLY used or has a different FCC number from the module to whats on the key fob. THAT'S WHY! SMH

Thank you very much. That's all I needed to know. I kept hearing from other people "it should work" or "Im not sure if it works, it might". I just wanted 100% "yes" from someone who had it. Thank you.

The FCC number has no bearing on if it works or not, that is just to make sure it is compliant. The keyfob mates with the keyless in your car through a programming mode.
