EM1 Type R Swap or K20a2/z1 HELP!!!
Ok, so I have an EBP EM1 and I eventually wanna swap it. I know a lot of ppl say you devalue the SI by doing this blah blah blah or just buy an EK EX and do the swap but its whatever. So i'm left with a question of what swap to do??? I'm thinking either B18c5, K20a2 or z1. Ive been doing a lot of research but i cant figure out what i wanna do. Please post what u think would be best and some helpful tips would be great. Im not really thinking of boosting it, leaning more towards all motor for right now. Thanks.

If you're planning on going all motor you should really opt for the larger displacement.
h2b, b20, or k20 should be your only considerations for an n/a build.
The ITR is a great bolt in swap for anyone who wants great fun, reliability, and a phenomenal transmission.
An h2b with an ITR trans would smoke an ITR swap 6 ways to sunday for about the same cost in a swap. The block is LOADS cheaper and you can buy a QSD kit with the savings.
K20 is a solid engine too, I don't like cable shifters though and the k20's tend to have transmission issues in general. All engines have their ups and downs.
Bottom line, the B18c5 shouldn't even be in your consideration list. It's a nice motor, but not what I'd call a good platform for an n/a build.
Stock performance? Hard to beat. Build potential? A ripped down b-series is a ripped down b-series. Why pay primo for the b18c5 block if you're going to rip it up anyway?

The B18c5 is more expensive on the website im thinking of buying from I guess since its from a Type R haha. The k series is obviously gonna give me more pwr and trq but in the long run im not sure which will cost more since the k series is a newer setup in an older chasis.

K24/K20, if you can swing the money. Really, a proper build is going to run 5-10k.
K swaps are getting cheaper, however, the parts to do this correctly are still spendy.
The k-pro plus tuning will run 1300+
