Default EM1 smog question

I was wondering if anyone with an EM1 (in California) could post what there HC, CO, and NO readings were. Plus what the maximum allowable amounts were.

I'm only a couple parts per million from passing and I'm running out of crap to change. Thanks for info.

(Engine swap B16A into 98 EK got pass smog to be legal.)

limit should be around:

15mph hc:60 co:0.55 nox: 500
25mph hc:50 co:0.5 nox: 700

if your car is stock it should pass because honda makes ULEV car. if you repaired or had to jump your car recently, make sure you drive around for about 100 miles before you smog and make sure you don't have any CEL

Well what I'm trying to do is find someone that recently had a smog test done in cali with a em1 and pasted. Im good on Co and No i'm just constainly failing on Hc. I realize what makes them, I'm at 90ppm but they say average is about 5 to 7. I just want to see if anyone after about 8 years is really at that. Thanks though.

i'm a smog tech and from my knowledge hondas and toyotas pass with flying colors all the time. 5 - 7 ppm average is believable for a 99-00. i've seen cars with zeros across the board. maybe you need a tune up, or you can just run your car at high rpms and heat up the cat before you go to the smog station and make sure theres no wait to get a smog.
