The EM1 gets the same pea shooter that the EX does. Try an ITR muffler (will probably need to be welded in)...although you never said what car you have.

technically speaking... no matter how different it is from the other ones, its still oem.. i think you meant to say you thought the em1 muffler would be different than the EX and below models.
I dont see why you would go to a stock em1 exhaust. Why dont you go online and search for a nice exhaust with an oem look, like a matte black finish. There are quite a few systems that do look stock, but are bigger, so better airflow.
just my .02

I myself had a local muffler shop weld on a universal "stock replacement". $75 out the door for the part and the welding.
Unless the Honda chambered muffler in particular is what you're after, it may be good to just buy a brand new one with zero miles on it, and 95% won't see difference on it vs. an OEM Honda one.
I'm sure there are cheap aftermarket chambered-look mufflers that allow a higher flow and/or sound if that's what you're after. ;-)
Best of luck, whatever your choice. :-)

It's a little on the loud side. I've had one. I had a resonator and cat....and it was still a bit loud. Not obnoxious loud, but too loud for me to do again. It did sound good, though.

Me too. They aren't too loud. I ended up changing exhaust because I thought it was too loud. Once I got one that WAS really loud I appreciated it a lot more. I got another one waiting to go on my hatch now.

I have an EX coupe with a Si muffler on it.
They are exactly the same.
The reason I wanted the Si muffler is that my EX muffler rusted out right where the piping meets the muffler body. I wanted a stock muffler again, and happened to find one that came off an Si.
I didn't want anything loud or huge. I like the quiet sound of stock and it looks great with the stock exhaust finisher on it.
That's why someone might want a stock muffler.
