EM1/jdm b16 with gsr head - fluctuating idle problem
So i have a em1 with a jdm b16 with gsr head not my choice came in the car but i cant get it to idle right the second it starts up the idle goes to 4 grand then drops to 1000 and back up to 3000 and keeps doing that never goes away i have tried 3 different iacv thinking that was it still have the problem anyone got any idea what it could be???

Check for vacuum leaks on or around the throttle body, intake manifold, and all vacuum lines with brake clean or carb cleaner or something like that. Be careful not to spray your alternator.

well i guess my car wanted to throw a code now for temperture sensor which idk how long thats been there cause i throw a code already for no crankshaft sensor cause of it being a jdm b16

A bad ECT sensor (2-wire sensor below the distributor) could cause a fluctuating idle. Measure its resistance with the engine fully warmed. It should be 200-400 Ohms.

mmm... you should check that, the map sensor is the one that goes over the throttle body, like he said check for vacum leaks too, and the tempererature sensor you should check that too because you computer cam be reading a bad temperature or your cluster one of both and thats bad
