Default EM1 Guys , Grill Question (SI badge)

Just got a EM1 the otherday, so ive been looking through the many EM1 crew threads and noticed a few guys are running a "SI" badge in the front grill and noticed someone said that it was a si badge from a ep3 but they wernt sure , so i figured someone could help out !

Example-

(NOT MY CAR) clean non the less!

Thanks !

mike

the only 2 ways i heard so far was using hot glue or a zip tie. thought about doing it to my em1 also, but eh. check out em1crew.com and clubsi.com for em1 specific material.

I would epoxy a zip tie or two to the back of the emblem...then you can attach it to the grill all snug like. If you don't like it...cut the zip ties and no harm is done to the grill.

When i got mine i ordered it as the badge from the trunk on an ep3 and it has an adhesive backing, similar to 3m double sided tape, and i just stuck it on there and have not had any problems out of it

Yup. I know ebay has the EP3 ones for the front grill for like $33 shipped or so.

Is there a reason that #4 cannot be used to secure it?

I personally do not like how it looks bc then it becomes a sticker fest on the car. Just my opinion in the look but if you still have desire to do it, do what was said earlier and order the rear si badge from an ep3. This way if you ever decide to remove it the residue (spelling) will be minimal and not affect yor paint wherever you decide to place it
