EM1 dipstick tubing keeps coming off with dipstick!
It gets so frustrating when I try to check my oil and the whole damn thing comes off with the dip stick. I notice that its why I lose oil and it looks wet underneath the oil pan. It appears to be seeping through from the lack of a tight oil tubing seal. I checked the oil pan parts diagram and there no actual seal for it though. How should I seal it so that the dip stick tubing stays put when I reach to pull the actual dip stick!? PLEASE DONT SAY WELD IT.....

Re: EM1 dipstick tubing keeps coming off with dipstick!
Ill post pictures when I am in the process of fixing it. I actually found a couple other forums with this similar issue suggesting JB weld. Sometimes you got to word it 2 or 3 different way for google to pull up the right answer... -_- Apparently, those tubes are press fitted and somehow mine got loose and now always comes off with dipstick... Well I have some JB Weld putty in a box, in my closet that's been there for just over 4 years, that's some great shelf time IMO! Im going to take off my headers, clean the area, insert the dipstick tube, and apply some putty neatly around it to seal it once and for all.
