Not an EM1 owner, but those KYB GR2's won't feel any better than your stock shocks.

Get rid of all of this unnecessary useless stuff and save up for some Koni Yellows to go with your upcoming Ground Controls. Instead of getting the ST f/r sway bars, just get an itr or ctr rear sway bar along with a subframe reinforcement kit such as the ASR kit. The stock front bar should be plenty.

Not selling anything I've already bought... But thanks for the suggestions.

I'm not a professional driver, and I want to curb understeer. With the sway bars I'm planning and softer rear spring rates I'll be neutral to oversteering, which is where I want it.

I am not 100% sure on the KYBs though, I had them on my Escort and it made for a noticably more stiff ride, yet still very streetable. I've tried to find Koni Yellows, but I got sick of searching for them and only finding reds. If you have a direct link to them I'd consider it, otherwise I'm going with either KYBs or Illuminas.

The Quaife ATB or the OEM LSD will go a long way towards curbing understeer. I was surprised at how much differently/better it exited out of corners. The front end holds the line dictated by the steering wheel much better. No pushing wide under power. And this was with Falken 615s in the rain.

Got mine from this guy. I highly recommend:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

But you still need the ITR ring gear and pinion. Or you can get a Quaife that fits the stock S4C ring gear.

How low does that header hang? I'm debating about getting one but I dont want it if it hangs much lower than the pan.

An old pic with the T1R test pipe:

http://img230.imageshack.us/my...g.jpg

It looks like it hangs way lower than the pan but is about 1-2" lower. Mine is a little lower now because I replaced the OEM heatshield with a Fastline Performance race skidplate. It depends on how low your car is too. Being on ITR springs, I only have to watch out for really bad dips. But there are a few scrapes on the skidplate, just no dents on the header.

why are you making the rear end of your car softer if you don't want understeer?

It'll be harder than stock, but softer than the front end. It'll be neutral to oversteering. At least from the advice I've gotten, and researching a bit into suspension dynamics (confusing ****). On stock suspension doing that will induce understeer, but with larger sway bars it won't.

if you want oversteer:
soft front, tight rear

if you want understeer; tight front, soft rear.

On stock sway bars sure, but I'll have a larger rear sway. 3/4" (19mm) vs 13 mm stock.
