EM1 AC blows warm
Hey HT. I've got a pretty much stock EM1 and the AC blow pretty warm. Its not like a constant temperature, but at any given time, it's only slightly cooler than the ambient air. I've tried recharging it myself once which didn't do anything. When I hooked the recharge hose up to the nozzle it didn't even register a PSI. I'm not too familiar with anything regarding the AC system, so any help is appreciated. I've been dying in my car recently and my window regulators are bad so I'm hesitant to roll the Windows down all the way lol.

Never add refrigerant to your A/C system without understanding how it works. You risk making a bad situation even worse.
When you turn on the A/C, does the compressor clutch engage? Does the condenser fan run?

Since you seem like you're not very knowledgeable on the AC system, when you press the AC button, not only will the led come on but you will hear the compressor clutch engage, there should be a small drop on engine rpm's before it picks up and if you open the hood and look at the compressor, the outer plate should be spinning with the belt.
This is the easiest I can explain it. Please let us know if it works.
Honestly though, with the info you have given so far, if I was you I would just take it to a shop. Good luck.

Re: EM1 AC blows warm
Hate to threadjack, but my '00 EX is suffering the exact same problem. Worked fine last fall, but won't blow cold when I flipped it on for the first time in 2015 last week.
I've already done a bunch of diagnosis. Results as follows:
- compressor will not turn on.
- condensor fan works as it should.
- all related fuses checked and confirmed to be good
- all system relays checked and confirmed to be good
Following the troubleshooting flow chart in the factory service manual, I find a problem when checking for voltage on the #2 terminal for the compressor relay in the underhood fuse box. There is NO VOLTAGE and the manual instructs me to "replace the underhood fuse box". This seems like a pretty unlikely point of failure IMO am a fairly extreme to solution to a clear wiring problem.
Before I start pulling fuses boxes and wiring harnesses out of my daily driver, has anyone else solved the problem of no voltage to the compressor relay?
