EM1 for $1900...
Theres a guy that lives like two blocks away and he's selling his Electron Blue 2000 SI with 109,xxx miles for like 1900 bucks.
Problems:
1st, 3rd and 4th gear no more. (he still drives the car)
Missing back windsheld
Missing back bumper
Headlight and tail lights are cracked and fogged with yellow
Fog lights wiring began to spark after 5 minutes
Muffler whistles like crazy
Tachometer doesn't work
Car turns off for no reason after it's stalled for like 6 or 7 minutes
E-Brake dont work
Lights where the odo and tach is dont go off
Power locks dont work
Backseats gutted
Brakes squeek and have to slam the brakes to stop the car
A/C dont work
blinkers dont work
and missing intake manifold, radiator leaks, motor oil leaks and i think tranny fluid aswell.
I still think this is a steal for 1,900 bucks! I'm wondering should I buy it and restore it. I believe theres more problems, but that's what I remember from yesterday. The body has some dents the sizes of quarters.
Is it a or a

I was thinking the same. Thats a lot of work. Unless you plan on gutting and rebuilding, I don't see a point to get involved in a headache like that.
