they are ugly.

they're the ones that are solid black with little whole cut for gay little projector lense... they probobly don't fit well they'll definately look gay... and they'll probobly be WAY dimmer than you stockers...just my opinion though do what you like.

They don't look bad at all, but I'd have to see them on a vehicle before I gave an honest opinion. You can tell the JDM purists got to this thread first .

Ricers.

Is that them?

I thought they were those black fiberglass looking ones. with the 3 holes.

those aren't terrible.. I wouldn't get'em but they're not as bad as what I thought they were.

What is up with this headlight? I hope it doesn't become the new craze, I swear there's a thread on these headlights every week.

they are made by TYC not elegante. try their website, and you will get a better answer to what you are looking for. There was just a thread about this like two weeks ago that I participated in.

http://www.elegantebytyc.com there is more....

The projectors don't seem to be the foggy 1st gen types that the oems don't use anymore. Don't know the bulb specs but if it isn't H3s then they might be the perfect housings for HIDs. Currently all the EG housings have bad reflectors and the projectors like I said are no good. If someone decides to put a g2 ellipsoidal projectors like the ones in an S2000, Benz, etc (non fogged up looking). THen we can have something for the HIDs to shine in. Otheriwise you get a lot of rainbowing and halo effects in the light output. Over at Club Lexus some of the peeps popped in some HIDs in their SC400 which had the 1G projectors from the factory and he said light output was great but the halo effect was kinda wierd. So hopefully htese things are the real deal. Go contact them someone.

The rice aspect is definately there, but I have worked a lot with the tyc stuff and generally they fit good, don't leak, and are DOT approved. Falls under category, "If you are gunna rice, do it nice." If I was to get some sort of projector headlight for my EGG, then my money would go to TYC.
