Is electrical tape enough insulation for the Engine Wireing harness?
I'm about to put the wireing harness on my b16 but don't like the bulky wire cover that you can buy at the auto parts store. I plan on putting the cover on the larger main part of the wireing harness, but will a few layers of electrical tape be enough to protect the wires steming off the main trunk. TIA

will work, i don't see why not. unless, wires are exposed to alot of heat, or rubbing from parts.

even in normal temps.. electrical tape will get all gummy after a long time...under the hood I don't think it'd fair too well... I'd suggest using that stretch wrap stuff that clings to itself... that way there's no adhesive to break down an leak out.

I would solder and heat shrink if your referring to added wiring. then some electrical tape and wire loom.
