Electrical Question on 2000 SI / type r motor help plz!
Alright I have a 2000 SI with a 00 US type r motor in it. It is using the stock si engine harness. P2T No CEL's
I am trying to pass emissions and my ecu is always seems to be in it's initial limp type mode. Emissions ODII tool keeps telling me that certain sensors are "not ready" resulting in a fail.
To the electrical questions. My car runs without the ECU fuse in it, starts up and runs just like it does with the fuse in it? why would that be? theres nothing pointing at it being hardwired
Also everytime I turn the car off and on it clears the ECU so it is never remembering anything which in turn i think is the reason my car seems to be in
"limp mode" everytime pretty much. Seldomly it will throw a code for exhaust threshold because I have no cat, If i turn the key off / on the codes gone. Does anyone have an idea whats going on ?
P2T ecu factory si harness.
please help if you can thank you much guys
