Electrical Problem with B18C-R Swap!
I put my B18C-R in my 93 Civic Si two days ago. Everything was fine, today I was driving it (not running the **** out of it!) and the speedometer and the tachometer started going crazy. The car lost power and I pulled over. Tried starting the car again, it ran for about 50 feet and same thing again.
Brought the car home, put the key in and attempted to start it up, I noticed that the fuel pump did not kick on when I turned the key, theres no fuel pressure and their is a sorta weird clikcing sound coming out of the intake manifold (it gets louder when you open the throttle body).
Any ideas? Heres a few pics of the swap......

dude you're car is REAL ******* sick man.
love it.
would you mind me asking,
how much did that full paint job run you and where did you have it done??
great stuff..
As for your problem,
it definetely sounds like a charging/battery problem.
double check to make sure that your alternator is hooked up properly.
and that it is giving your battery a good charge.
You should see voltage at the battery(while the car is running)
at around 13-14V if its lower, like 12's or less ,then the battery is not being
charged and ur just draining it as you drive.
Triple check all your grounds too,
a loose ground wire can/will cause problems with the charging system.
love it.

i posted the answer to your problem in your appearance/cosmetic thread. your valvecover ground is in the wrong place, and isn't grounding the head/spark plugs. also, make sure the ground at the thermostat housing is on and tight, or you wilol get all of your symptoms

I'd say from the pics posted above the ground cover wire does appear to be in the right place IMO.

Put the ground on the silver grommet that holds the valve cover on.

I had the EXACT problem in my hatch. Ended up being the power wire for the altenator wasn't bolted in all the way down . Try regrounding your car and checking your distributor cap/rotor too.
