Default electrical problem.

ok so ive had this problem for a long time and its getting annyoing because now that i have a sub in my car i cant afford to waste power with lights being on that are unnessisary. ok my cars a 94 civic dx. when wiring up my stereo the was no power on the ignition wirie. but i got power form the 12volt constant. so when i hooked up my stereo the only way to get it to turn on was to put the 12volt constant and the igniton wire form the cd player on the constant on my car. also my gauges wont light up. stereo was first thing put in car so i dont even know if they worked b4 then. my guess is probably not since my borther bought it from a shady garage and i did most of the work on it durring my days and since then bought it off of him. and the only way to get the gauges to turn on is to put my 12volt ignition from my car to my 12constant to my car. problem ias they run all day and along with my tail lights and front marker lights, and since i put in my sub my alternator has had a hard time keeping up with all of this alont with my radar and tach i put in. i was just looking to get this fixed hopefully and maybe someone would have an idea whats wrong with my car. thanks in advance for any help

Are fuses 15 and 23 blown? Or is the ACC terminal of your ignition switch bad?

The ignition wire from the switch to the radio could be bad or, alternatively, it is a bad ignition switch:
