Electrical Problem?
my car died a few days back and i push started it home. i tought it was the alternator, so i replaced it. i jump started the car and drove around. while i was driving around my lights started to turn on and off, my radio keep reseting, and my guage cluster keep going all crazy. is this because my battery is dead or something else?

huuh, yeah! well maybe? if your alternator was bad, most likely it drained the battery. i would test the battery, see if it needs charging or replacing. put it back in and test it out. also double check you ground wires. make sure they are bolted and free of corrosion.

what are you getting out of it? trying to start and just doesn't or just a clicking?
Check all of your cables make sure they are alright, no corrosion.(I just had that my fuse box cable actually came off the battery terminal, and everytime I hit the brakes the radio would shut off, and the speedometer would go to zero and then back up to my speed, all with the lights dimming at that, hooked the wire back up, and all is good.)
