I bought the car in November, for 1,500. So now that I have been messing around with the car I have notice some odd electrical issues. First it was the check engine light, then it was the interior light, it does not work as well as the door switches that turn the light on when the doors are open. The the air condition console only lights up half of it but I can fix that by replacing the bulb. Now, as in today I notice that my tail lights turn on while pressing the brake peddal with the car off and keys off the ignition. Ran my car out of fuel and it didnt alert me of low fuel light. Anyone knows why this is happening or how to fix this?. Search box has not helped me.

sounds like maybe a bad alternator the battery is not getting charged correclty so when you step on your brake lights the brake lights are tail light brightness Check your turn signals and see if they turn.. Can you start the car?? if it starts fine then you may have a short in the harness some where. Some times shorts can appear and if they touch the frame since the frame is a ground it can mess everything up

Car starts fine and drive fair, just the electricals got me puzzled. The brake light work but with the the low/high beams on, or if the low beams are off the brake lights don't light up except for the left corner bulb( when you press the brake peddal).
