Just recently notice this electric cord plug thats hooked up to the front side of the block (cyl 4) behind the header where on all motors that i knoe off has a plug on it.... took some pics of it but was wondering if anyone have any idea what it might be used for... looks just like a electric cord that fits into the electrical outlet has 3 prongs.......

So.. it's like a three prong thing? WTF? No idea why that would ever be in the engine bay of a car...

cars in the frozen north can be had with it i guess....it is most likely a block heater like said previously. Just plug it in and see. I wish i had one....
