Electircal issues, one after another.
I'm going to try to get this done as short as possible. I'm running a b16a2 with a p30 (obd1) ecu. I've recently dropped another b16 in and everything was fine for a while. I did a minor tune up and trying to start the car, a wire arched and almost caught on fire. I fixed that, my speedometer (especially at higher rpms) just goes ape ****. I replaced the cluster and now it still does it but only slightly. On the old one it would actually cut my fuel off to the engine. There are a few other electrical issues, and the car at one point in time took on some water (not a flood) but the car carries moisture in it and I think that might be part of the problem. I want to get a new ecu and rewire the car (paying someone to do the work) Can i change my ecu completly to obd 2? Guess of the cost? Ty in advance. Also would it be worth it to get MSD ignition in the same job?

Re: Electircal issues, one after another.
I've check a few when something else happened and nothing was blown. Everything works, just sometimes it gets screwey. For example my tach w/light is set to light up at 7k rpm. When it hits like 4.5k the shift light starts to light up but never fully brightens unless i keep the rpms going up. If i lower or raise the rpm the shift light is supposed to go off at it either is brighter or not on. Like if i put it to 9k it's off until i hit like 5.5, if i put it down to 6k the light is all the way on at 3k rpms. I dont see a fuse causing an issue like that.
