EK9 Cluster - High Beam Indicator?
Hello,
Can anyone point out to me where the CTR Cluster - High Beam Indicator is? I have been searching Google forever and have had no luck... I searched HT also but did not seem to find the answer either. Either the bulb doesn't work, it doesn't have one, something's not connected or I'm just dumb... I noticed that between the center and left gauge down below there is a covered indicator but cannot verify if this is it.. I need this to pass state inspection. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Re: EK9 Cluster - High Beam Indicator?
Question:
Do the high beam bulbs have to be working or intact for the high beam indicator to turn on when switching them on? Like a closed or open circuit. Where as if you switch to high beam and the bulbs do not work, the high beam indicator does not turn on.

I'm pretty sure if you were to flick the lever, it'd still turn on. The bulbs are double filaments, so I don't think it'd be an issue with the indicator light.

In this case, the car has HID lights which I did not install so I am not exactly sure how it was hooked up.
In what scenario can you think of that the HID wiring would cause the high beam indicator to not turn on when clicking the lever? Also when turning on the lights, the HID lights turn on but when you pull the lever for high beams they turn off... and no high beam indicator.

^ Indeed - this points to a problem with your wiring and HIDs and not a defective cluster. No high beams = no high beam indicator (obviously).
EDIT: Pretty dangerous isht, too if you're driving along at night and accidentally hit the high beam switch - bam, no lights.

I'll have to go over the HID diagram this weekend and see what I can figure out since I didn't do the install.
Thanks!
Thanks!
