ek4 rear shocks fit into eg??
hi guys i recently bought a set of coilover suspension. but it was for ek4 guy said it would fit my car. but my stock lca's with es bushings in them wont fit the suspension. is there anything i can do? anyone ever put ek shocks on eg? LET ME KNOW TIA
and i did search couldnt get any info.

don't listen to anybody but me....lol.
I have EK Koni Yellows on my EG, and I know about 3 others running EK rear shocks/coilovers on their cars.
The shock length is the same, but the shock fork is not as wide as the EG.
You must grind down the metal bushing about 3/16th's of an inch on each side to allow the EK shock to slide over. SUper easy, takes about 10 minutes to do so.
Ek LCA;'s won't work...different length.
Me grinding down the bushing
Budy CLub damper off EK9- CTR onto grinded EG LCA

i have es bushings on them though. its not the same can i grind down the bushings? ill prolli do that thanks guyz

i have ek rear shocks in my EG too. you need to grind down the metal part inside the bushing (where the bolt goes thru), not the actual rubber bushing itself.

yep grinded the es bushings down took some time but they fit now. i havent put it on the car just put it on the strut to see if it slides in nice thanks guyz.

I was wearing glasses, but they fogged up.
