ek wiring dash lighting queston?

ek wiring dash lighting queston?
so heres the story,i think a wire ripped under my dash, theres a rip on a red wire(3wires) for controlling the dashlight dimness. so my guages arent lit anymore,my console its no light there anywhere.
its dark driving at night!
is this the right wire for dashlight?
