I want to upgrade my manual mirrors to power mirrors, what would I need to do the full conversion? I have the mirrors and switch, what else is needed?

you will need the wiring clips at the switch and at the mirrors. Some extra pins for the door clips are a good idea too. I don't have the wiring diagram for the EK otherwise I would send it over to ya. I forgot to mention, you asked what else is needed... Patience, and alot of it.

I was actualy wanting to go the opposite way. I just bought a 92 Si HB, and the DS side view mirror was knocked off. It is a lot cheaper buying two new manual mirrors than one new power one, so what do I need to do to make them fit?

Thanks.

You would need the manual mirrors, and the black interior piece by the mirrors with the holes for the ****. You could modify the black covers from the power mirrors but it will be cleaner if you buy the right piece. I personally would spend the extra bucks and keep it power.

Ok, thanks. I was kinda leary, cause I may have to do some splicing, because the harness was ripped off as well. Thanks for the advice, as I am not sure which route I am going to take as of yet. This will be my DD, good gas mileage car for school and work, while my subie is my fun car that I like to modify.

I'm not really sure if I can warrant spending twice as much if not more for a mirror when it doesn't really matter, except for convenience.

There is a company called certifit that makes replica oem parts and they sell the manual mirrors only. That are really close to me and sell the mirrors for $21.95 each. So I could get both mirrors for probably less than the price of one new one; plus the car I just picked up needs a good bit of body work and having two new mirrors would make it look better IMO.

Thanks again for the help.
