Re: ek type r cluster (civicjunkie)
I have 2000 si dash in my 93 right now, however, the fit doesn't satisfy me, you will have to do a lot of cutting of the underpart of the dash to get it in, plus route new vents(not as easy as it sounds). The wiring of the gauge cluster was fairly easy. I took the entire stock dash wiring harness from my 93, ripped out the one from the si. Put the 93 harness into the new dash, "massaged" the new dash in, wired up the connectors I needed to(the gauage cluster, hazard lights, maybe cruise control if you have it). Basically I did a whole lot of work to get a result that I wasn't really satisfied with, most people that see it like it, but I don't care for it anymore. I plan on putting in the stock dash, and making the 2000 gauage cluster fit in that.

Re: ek type r cluster (mps9506)
a little off the original post...but did you try removing the actual face of the Si/CTR cluster then putting them in your EG cluster? I heard that this was possible...just want to know for reference.
