Ek single cam turbo
Im planning on boosting my ek and have some questions. Its a single cam y8 ex motor. Im planning on buying a the turbo, manifold, and all the piping, intercooler and oil lines. The thing that im concerned about is how to control the boost and what kind of blow-off valve to use. I dont want nothing big just run 8-10 psi. I cant afford no e-manage or electronic controllers so i want to know what would be the simplest way to run everything safely. Thanx!!!

you have ALOT of searching and research to do on the site. start with the search button and you will answer almost all your questions. You dont need a boost controller IMO and the BOV i reccomend is the HKS SSQV or Tial 50mm. The safest thing you can do at this point is research and gain the knowledge needed to boost a car.

you have some learning to do. or your engine will be the one paying for it.
i keep seeing these posts in the eg forum, there is a whole forum dedicated to FI. if i move this thread there it will get locked anyway. look in the FI forum at the faq's and go from there.
