Is EK SI airbox same as EX?

Is EK SI airbox same as EX?
I searched the forums and got little.
The airboxes look the same ( the air pipe to the throttle is the obvious difference.)
So, are they the same? If not what is the difference? Will spoon elbow fit both?
And how do you make the airbox into a cold air-intake? ( I hear its possible).
