EK Sedan Lock Problems
Deets;
Acquired this car a couple months ago.
Got tired of manually pushing the locks down when I have power locks, 4 doors for christ sake lol.
Got a new switch. Nothing.
Got a new door lock unit. Nothing
Pulled my finger out of my *** and got my test light. Power to everything. Turned out to be the ground.
Rewired in a ground and presto, the driverside door locks.
NOW
The driverside door is the only door working.
My EK Sedan is a '97 LX. Yes, unfortunately it had keyless, one time in its life.
The previous owner jumped the ceiling light prior to me owning it.
Looked at some diagrams, found out the OEM Receiver effects keyless entry.
HOWEVER, I am just wanting my door lock switch to work. Nothing in any of the dozen or so threads mention the switch not working. Only the keyless entry.
Couple of questions:
Would the OEM Radio Receiver affect the other doors not working on the switch?
- If so, is there a way I can slave the rest from the driver switch?
Or
Are they already slaved and I could have a faulty actuator along the line?

Re: EK Sedan Lock Problems
on my 99 ex coupe when i use my keyless entry fob to lock the doors, sometimes, only the drivers side door locks, and i would have to manually lock the passenger side, and it happens about half the time. I would image it sucks locking another 2 extra doors than me lol but you arnt the only one with this problem
