ek seat possibilities
hello i hate the current seats in my 98 hatch and the rails suck (all ej6 owners will know that they dont slide back when reclined) the seats are uncomfortable and i know the best would be recaro or bride but they cost quite a bit, too much for a college student. so i was wondering if any one put like del sol seats, ep3, etc ...or any other seat and how is the fitment...im 5 11 so i gotta watch about my head hitting the roof also. so please help me out. thanks. im sorry but i tried searching and im a noob at this so bare with me. thanks in advance. any one with ej6 with swapped out seats pls respond. thanks

My personal Favorites are the Del Sol seats. As long as you get a straight pair they are insanely comfortable and the lower you down just a tad. All you have to do is buy the seats and take the Del Sol rails off and put the Civic rails on them. They usually run about 200 a pair give or take about 50 bucks

the del sols are nice, like GTI said, a tad lower than your stock seats.
i've been told 99-00 EX coupe sliders will slide forward when you recline the seat. no idea if that is true or not, maybe someone can confirm this.

Mine do. Only on the passenger side though.

Del Sol seats seem the way to go for you. Just to give you a comparison, EP3 seats are much more expensive. A friend of mine was given a pair over two years ago (lucky, i know!) and told, "If you can get them to fit in your EM1, they're yours!" He was one of the first known to swap the EP3 seats into a 5th gen. Let's just say that after everything he had to do to get them to mount, they're not coming out anytime soon. They also sit crooked inside the car, and theyre way too high. Go with the Sol's!!!
