EK owners who have removed a/c
did you remove the evaporator too? it weighs like 10-15lbs. you should replace it with this heater duct if you haven't already. just dropping some knowledge...
i just remembered this because i bumped into it today. i just recently added a/c to my cx so i had one lying around.

i removed the whole thing...all lines and the evaporator thingy which you are referring to ....i think if you take it out...someone told me it needs to be replaced if yuo ever put your ac back in
