Default EK owners with type r 4 lug conversions

I've had my 4 lug type r conversion(4x114.3) on for awhile now and my tire on the passenger rear side has super bad camber. It didn't bother me at first because I was using my bros car for a daily driver, but now i'm force to use mine. Well anyways my question is that do i need a camber kit for the rear, if so, do i get one for my 97 hatch or for a 97 integra? I'll try to get a picture to let you guys know what i'm talking about. The passenger side rear wheel is at an angle and the guy that put it on said that the LCA or something like that was bent. Any help will be appreciate thanks.

Why just the one side? Is your car aligned properly?

Be prepared for posts saying that camber kits dont work, etc.. and then some that say they do. Its all in the eyes of the beholder.

My rear trailing arm was bent on the drivers side and caused wear, etc.. The alignment shop I took it to stated a camber kit could "maybe" bring it back into alignment however, you would lose the ability to adjust the alignment once it was done.

Cliff Note: Shop said yeah it could work, but you cant adjust the camber or anything once its because it will go back to the way it was.

I just basically replaced the rear trailing arm and then also replaced the very old and very illinois snow weathered LCA and put all the new bolts in, etc.. Fixed the problem with the kit. Basically cost me what the kit did, EXCEPT, maybe the labor replacing the LCA/Trailing arm would be a bit pricier if I hadnt done it myself.

If you installed it correctly you shouldn't have bad camber in one side.

BTW, if you have it alligned and still have shitty camber in one side you can fix it with washers.

EDIT: And those washers are a whole lot cheaper than some fancy camber kit.

well i'm guessing that the arm was bent already and we didn't find out until it was put on but now the guy that put on the conversion has moved so it's all on me now.

You need the EK LCAs for the rear. I think the R ones are too short.

You could always just replace the 1 trailing arm.

If the trailing arm is bent it doesnt mean your LCA is bent. I mean unless you want to put new LCA's in then more power to you. Megans are nice. I think you can get them on ebay for about 100$

yeah but don't most places sell trailing arms in a set because they don't want to split it up?

No they shouldnt.

I bought just the trailing arm through honda.

I then bought 1 LCA a few days later because it was so rusted when I removed it to put the arm in.

The only thing you may have to purchase with the trailing arm is the 2 arms that connect to the top of the rear trailing and bolt to the car and the one on the front the bolts to the car. (Unless those 2 smaller arms are bent, you can reuse the ones you have) I just always keep it simple and replace everything including the bolts.
