ek needs help!!! alternator problems
my battry on my ek keeps dying...alternator is neww i changed it today and i also tested the cable by making a bridge from a wire near the battery to the alternator and its still goes off when i disconect the negative wire from the battery...need help!!!! plz a.s.a.p

if it helps to know its a d16y7 and i havent changed anything or upgraded any part recently

NEVER... i repeat NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!! unhook the battery to test the alternator! very foolish attempt to test! doing that will put your alternator into FULL OUTPUT which will burn it out VERY FAST!!!!!!!
drive the car to any autoparts store and have them hook up the car to there computer tester on wheels to test your battery and your alternator.
they will test it on the car and tell you if its good or weak or bad within 5mins!

new or not. test it out ON THE CAR!
have you ever checked the battery? if the battery is bad it cannot hold a charge and will also burn out the alternator.
so just take the car to a autoparts store or what not... call around localy and see who does it closest to you for free!
