I know these 96-98 lips have been discontinued from Honda, but is the only way to find one used? I have heard some companies bought a stock of them, but does anyone know who currently has any left? I'm deperate for this lip, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. TIA

egay and most JDM web sites sell them. They are not oem originals but copies.

I've done a dealer search and no US dealers have them. By the way, as of today, there are no copy cats version out yet. This is why they are so rare now.

no password does not have the real lip in stock, he has the copies also. anyways good luck finding them..i remember almost 2 years ago these lips were going for 80 bucks from the dealership. i got lucky and bought one brand new thru a guy off another forum for 120

Yea, I love mine. I accidentally found it in HT classifieds. And yes, I jumped on it fast. There are a couple people out ther with them so you'll find one.

damnit i love that lip. its the only reason i'm keeping my 96-98 front end.

they're so hard to find now. manchester honda was selling them for $80 shipped earlier this year, i went there to buy mine in march and they didn't have them anymore. i will find one someday!

I have one that has broken corner mounts if anyone wants it
Im not setting up shipping though...if you want it you gotta supply the box and have a truck come to my house to pick it up
But its ok, other than the corner mounts and a few scratches on the bottom from daily driving

Did some searching at work on the interactive network and I believe I have found the 96-98 unpainted front lip that you are looking for. Though the computer only listed 97-98 Civics, im sure it would work on a 96. This was the information I was able to get:

If anyone is interested in buying the part new, I would recommend calling a dealer of your choice of the list above to see if the spoiler is in stock (b/c maybe someone wanted to buy that spoiler right after I printed this list up). But when I printed this up the interactive network said that these dealers had that spoiler in stock. And since no parts centers ( where Honda parts are distributed to dealers) have the item in their stock, I am left to assume that Honda does not make it anymore, but I could be wrong. Hope this is of help to people that would like to buy the lip new.

I also have part numbers of painted front spoilers as well but have not had time yet to see if any dealer has them in their stock. If anyone is interested and would like me to check just im me or email me ( ) . For example , for a 98 Civic front lip color choices are: Cypress green pearl, Flamenco black pearl, Taffeta white, Milano red, Vogue silver metallic. Ill try to check all those color spoilers soon.
